Until further notice, all meetings and workshops that were to be held at the Church of the Redeemer are cancelled. The monthly meetings will be held via ZOOM and a limited number of attendees at another location. We are so sorry for this but we have to remain in the safest possible environment for the health of our members and friends.
Please check back frequently for further updates!
Here's an update on our Daffodil project!
Daffodil Delight - Salisbury Garden Club Tradition Salisbury Garden Club continues their Daffodil Tradition which started in the fall of 2009 which was the 40th Anniversary of the club. That year they planted 4000 bulbs to honor the 100 members of the club. The bulbs were planted at various places with in the community including the Church of the Redeemer (their meeting place), Wishing Well Park, the Midlothian Post Office, Midlothian Fire Station, Suburban Mobile Village, Entrance to Salisbury at Robious Rd. The Salisbury Garden Club members have maintained the Daffodil Tradition. Multiple types of bulbs, approximately 100, including Ice Follies,Carltons, Dutch Masters, Thalia and Jetfire are planted at the various sites yearly. When the club’s Anniversary Garden was created at the Church of the Redeemer in 2019, members included Daffodil in the planning. The Salisbury Garden Club has been able to maintain meetings and programs thru Zoom. They also continue doing floral designs, Botanical Designs and Horticulture specimens by e-mailing a photo of the project to the Exhibit Chairmen who in turn organized the photos and have them posted on the club’s website at SalisburyGardenClub.com.
